We recognize that home, workplace and daily routines can create life stressors. Our classes afford participates the opportunity to learn positive communication and problem-solving skills, as well as, encourage the importance of maintaining healthy relationships.
The skills we teach help you cool down, manage stress, and learn how conflict can be a force for positive change. We teach you to work through defensiveness and build a shared understanding with people in all facets of your life. In the end, you can find mutually satisfactory solutions to sources of conflict.
Our weekly classes give participants the space to reflect on the skills learned, practice using them in daily interactions, and to share the experience with our trained instructors.
Class instruction includes the following:
- Calming strategies
- Balance emotions
- Discover alternatives to reduce conflict
- Recognize triggers
- Identify your conflict styles
- Explore problem solving skills
- Use effective communication
Registration, Payments and Certificates of Completion
Currently, the Healthy Relationships Seminar costs $25 per session. The fee should be paid at the time of registration and is nonrefundable. All participants upon completion of the Seminar will receive a certificate of completion. Please note that fees are subject to change. BSC does not accept checks. BSC accepts debit and credit cards, or cash.
BSC hosts classes at 64 Mount Vernon Avenue, Mount Vernon, NY 10550. We also travel to provide onsite services.
